Nodes are an in-game natural cache of resources used for basic crafting and survival, harvested via pickaxe or axe.
Greenish nodes in the form of boulders give the player stone and flint. Nodes of a similar appearance, but red instead of green with black dots will give coal and stone when harvested. Yellow tinted rocks, similar in appearance to an actual boulder will give the player limestone and clay when harvested. Piles of dirt with silver rocks that can be seen without will give the player iron ore and stone when harvested. Giant rock clusters, or formations can be found throughout radrock, tundra, and highlands and cannot be broken with a pick. They must be blown up with dynamite to yield the players any sort of reward. They currently drop a random amount of any ore, with an average of four different ores. The flat stone with red gems seen throughout will yield titranium ore, a second tier ore following iron. The node with the same appearance as the titranium node, but with green gems will yield mondinium, the third tier ore following titranium. When near the mondinium node, players will recieve a poison effect at a rapid rate. With an appearance the same as titranium and mondinium, ultranium has blue gems and will produce a field of radioactivity.
